A Very Different War.

Rightly or wrongly, the Korean War has often been called the “Forgotten War”. This perception was paramount when I agreed to write, “A Very Different War – RAAF Operations in the Korean War”. It was also a great honour to be asked by the Air Force.

Consequently, I have been moved by how well the book has been received. In its first month it rose to the Top Ten of all titles in history as recognised by the independent Nielsen Book Data. Additionally, the first print run sold out in the same period with a second print run now on the shelves.

Personally, to see the book on the shelves of major retailers such as Big W gave me faith that our Air Force’s significant contribution in the Korean War was being read by a broad audience.
