Congratulations!

I celebrated my wife’s 30 years as an airline pilot earlier in 2026 in the post titled, “Credit Where Credit’s Due”. In that post I detailed the sacrifices that she’d made along her career path and all that she had achieved both in and beyond the flight deck.

Last evening she was among a number of pilots marking milestones with Qantas and in a new initiative, received a challenge coin to mark the occasion, with her name engraved on the reverse.

I have said it many times before, but I could not be prouder of how she has managed the fine balance of maintaining her professional standards while always prioritising our family’s needs.
